Ask Yourself: What If Money Was No Object?

What would you like your life to be like?

What do you want your days to look like; your weeks, months, years?

If you’re not honest with yourself, you’ll never get what you want. If every idea you have is thrown to the wayside because you talk yourself out of it before you ever try it, you’ll never get what you want in this life.

What would you like to do if money were no object? How would you REALLY enjoy living your life? Maybe you’re already enjoying your life as it is and maybe you’ve already asked yourself these questions and are on a path to your dream life. Maybe you’re already there… Congrats, this is where happiness lies.

Don’t you think that we should be living the life we choose rather than doing what our parents did or what we think we’re “supposed to do”? Doing what we love makes us happy, makes others happy, and gives back to the world. It’s not selfish because it comes full circle.

I think we all deserve to live a life where we enjoy our days doing what we love to do. And though this does take thinking out of the box for some, and it does take time and planning and being honest with yourself and others, it can happen. It won’t happen over night but if you’re working toward your dream job, your dream life, then the journey does indeed become just as exciting {if not more so} than the actual getting there.

Obviously some are in places in their lives where they don’t think they have the option to think in these terms or ask these types of questions. With incomes to earn and bills to pay and kids to feed, life is challenging and it’s understandable to shut this out completely… but this little 3minute video really makes a big impact I think, in forcing us to really think about what we want in this world where we get to spend so little time being alive.

If money were no object, what would you really want to spend your time doing? I think it’s time to start setting those plans and goals into action to begin living the life of your dreams, because for most people, the Dream Life Fairy doesn’t just come knocking on your door one day and handing it to you. It takes work… but it’s worth every minute of it.

Happy Monday Thoughts!
