Whenever Delilah comes up for a visit, I somehow, accidentally, have a little something waiting for her. I don’t always do it on purpose, it just sort of happens that way.
For instance, I made those adorable DIY Sequined Princess Hangers and couldn’t help grab a few princess dresses to hang on them, not only to capture pretty blog photos, but for the overall princess theme. You can’t really give princess hangers without a princess dress attached, right?
She was pretty excited about both last weekend when she accidentally found this photo in my Instagram feed while we were waiting for the fireworks to start and looked up at me with those eyes and the biggest smile ever saying ARE THOSE FOR ME!?!?!? I had kept them a secret until that point. But what she didn’t know was that I also had this adorable Bixbee butterfly winged pink sparkly backpack for her as well.
It’s really the cutest thing on the planet and the small size fits her perfectly. She squealed when she took it out of the box, immediately pulled it over her shoulders and started bouncing so the wings would flap.
I wonder if she’ll wait to use it for the coming school year or just start now? It also came with a super cute little pink sparkly wristlet clutch that she carried with her on our walk to the village that evening after swimming in the lake. I was using my black wristlet clutch as well and am so sad I forgot to snap a photo of our matching moment, but needless to say, she’s obsessed 😉
They have so many adorable options for girls and boys. The bags with the wings are my favorites, {as seen below} but they also have larger versions with cute prints for big kids too.
We had just returned from playing in the lake when I finally broke down and let her open it. She insisted the pink sparkle wristlet had to stay in the front pocket even though it didn’t really fit. She loved it 😉
