* Red Wavy wig+ Silver Stretch Sequin Trim + Stick-on Velcro *

Find an adjustable nylon or silk slip in nude, pink or white with lace on the bust,this one would work too
{you can probably find this at a thrift shop for less than $5} – or find a lace topped camisole,
or nightgown,
and simply cut it right below your ribs. {for more coverage, wear two} + any sort of beaded long Cross pendant necklace
will do {use a bracelet at the clasp to lengthen a short necklace} or if you have rosary beads, they will work too

Buy a pre-made Ballet Tu Tu{go with the 24 inches long (606-24″) for $22.99} in white or pink {whichever matches your slip top} and trim the ends if it’s a bit too long {also, for more volume add tulle to this pre-made one or wear two}
OR …diy one yourself
You’ll probably need at least 5-7 yards of tulle for the skirt to get the volume she has {I’m a stickler for authenticity lol}. Match your tulle to the color slip you buy for your top. You can make the skirt one of two ways: 1. Stitch it directly to a pair of large high waisted panties or wide elastic or 2. Fold over the top creating a channel and run a ribbon through it and tie a bow as a closure {like this}

* Military Combat Boots

I really didn’t bother with the mic because who wants to carry that around all night BUTTTTT, if I were going to get really crafty, I’d make a purse that LOOKED like a microphone to carry my essentials in, killing two birds with one stone.
Her makeup is simple …bright red lips, dark eyeliner & lashes …and if you want to get really authentic, don’t forget to Sharpie on her tattoos
Have Fun!

That’s pretty awesome – I’m not sure I’m digging the hair, but I am loving it as a costume!

Don’t forget your microphone prop! I’ve seen some really cute ones in the seasonal aisle of several pharmacies that sort of made me want to change my costume idea!

Love this idea!!! Too bad I’ll be walking the neighborhood this year instead of hitting up the costume contests around town. 🙂 Can’t wait to see who you dress up as!!! XOXO

Maegan…you have done it again.
Rhianna’s outfit was very costumey on that show. She looked like a devilish-ballerina….that red hair is still not my havorite look on her.
Anywho, I love the tut. That might be a pretty hot costume!

I bought this wig not long ago and two things to keep in mind: removing the devil horns is going to leave some gaps in the hair + the wig is much shorter than the image is showing! You probably wont even have to cut it. (unless I got one from a different company, not sure… the image is the same girl on the cover of the packaging!)
Cute idea though, love it!

I like this costume. But how can wear without my undies showing. I have white undies and still showing. I cut my top but I’m thinking make it longer. That’s might worked or buy another tutu..
