Since quitting jobs this month and prioritizing my life for fulfillment and meaning, I’ve had more time to practice my piano lessons and am now learning to play Bette Midler songs, which are a fun jump from Christmas songs. I love it. I can’t wait to just be able to sit down and actually play a song and have it sound like a real song.

My sweet little LeRoy… paces, stumbles, falls over, stares at the carpet, and gets stuck in small corners while he’s awake now. It’s sad, but I still love him up, I just have to whisper sweet nothings into his ear and he gives me little kisses.

I know I’ve been complaining a lot about not getting a fun Winter snow, but honestly, the West is facing drought and if we don’t get some water soon, it could result many fires in the coming months… So East coast, send us some of your water, would ya? 🙂
