Studio DIY creates the most fun party decor DIYs, I CAN’T EVEN HANDLE IT! Who knew you could “decoupage” balloons? And somehow they’re not only cute and festive, they’re chic and sophisticated too!
For her latest project and collaboration with Balloon Time, Studio DIY created a Modern Luau ~ Tropical Party in soft peaches and bright greens and whipped up these DIY Decoupage Palm Fronds Balloons, and with them created a fun DIY Luau Centerpiece, added some nature to the mix with real Palm Frond Table Runners for a gorgeous dinner party and Tropical Party Lounge & Treats for all the before and after festivities. I don’t know about you, but I want to go to this party!

Tropical Dinner Centerpieces!
If you think luaus and balloons can’t be sophisticated, Studio DIY is here today to prove you WRONG.
For this tropical dinner party they pulled pineapples, palm fronds and tiki glasses from a classic luau theme, then added a centerpiece of balloons and cocktails and an elegant color palette to make this theme appropriate for all your summer dinner parties. The black and white dishes and gold utensils add a chic and modern touch. For a natural feel, they brought the outdoors in and picked up various palm leaves at their local floral supply or garden center and used them as decor on the tables and table runners. If you live in a tropical area, you can probably find these for free in your backyard!
Chic Luau Lounge!
Change up a typical dessert bar and incorporate your sips and sweets into a lounge area at your party. They arranged plates of different chocolates, truffles and bon bons on a coffee table in front of lounge furniture, making for an intimate post-dinner treat! Make a couple extra clusters of balloons tied to baby pineapples and use them as decor flanking each side of the seating area.
