The Viceroy Hotel Sovereign Villa Suite 105 Palm Springs

We’ve been staying in Sovereign Villa Suite 105 at the Viceroy Palm Springs for the last five days and four nights and honestly, we could move in for the entire Summer and be perfectly content! It’s a 2bedroom/2bathroom little Spanish house with a full kitchen and dining room and extra small reading room or office off of the dining room. It has a full walk-in closet {to contain our mess of clothes & my overpacking problem} with doors connecting the second bedroom to the master bathroom. Our front patio and private back patio made it even more special. It. Was. Fabulous. One of the best rooms we’ve ever stayed in and really, we’d buy it if it were on the market just to have the freedom to come and getaway whenever we wanted to.

If you follow my Future Spanish House board on Pinterest, or have been reading for a while, you’d know that the husband and I are absolutely in love with Spanish style homes and will own one, one day {hopefully soon!}. There is just something so relaxing and vacation-esque to me about a Spanish home, and the Viceroy captures the Old Hollywood Spanish house charm to a T. I think what I loved MOST were the thickly painted white Spanish floor tiles. I honestly would have NEVER thought to do that, mostly because I love terra cotta tiles, but wow did it look polished! The wall-to-wall white rooms with black and yellow contrast colors is just phenomenal. For reference, this villa suite is steps away from the gorgeous gazebo in the grassy courtyard you see in many of the Viceroy photos.

Our trip from LA to the Viceroy Palm Springs took exactly 1 hour and 45 minutes… which means, it’s our new local vacation spot.

Unfortunately I only brought my prime lens with my camera and therefore, couldn’t get longer shots of the villa suite AND was so excited when we arrived that I forgot to video a little room tour for you. I thought about it mid-trip but didn’t want to spend the day cleaning up our ginormous mess to do so. And wow can we make a mess! Needless to say, I captured some beautiful stills of our room and all the moments in between… well, almost all of them.

And here is an overwhelming amount of photos…
