YOU GUYS, IT’S MAY ~ WTF?
For all you smash-faced dog owners, these gel pet cooling mats are a LIFE-SAVER! We trained Randy, who overheats quite quickly, to lay on them whenever he gets hot and when we return from walks in the summer. I don’t know how but they cool him down INSTANTLY! They’re about $14-$20 on Amazon. We have a 16″ & a 20″ of the “slumber pet cool pup pet mat” {shown above} but there are also larger mats for bigger dogs available from different brands. I think you CAN refrigerate them, but there’s no need. They cool to the touch, it’s crazy!
There are a few amazon reviews of women using them for hot flashes as well, just saying, this brand in particular is very soft and silky to the touch, so it’s a real option for cooling humans as well 😉
I haven’t been able to make time to draw this week and it’s been tugging at me… this is a closeup of Cillian Murphy I did from about a month ago… also, I’ve watched Peaky Blinders about 5 times now… just one episode a night before bed, but I can’t stop! It’s so good. I’ve just started The Paradise again though, which is much more feminine and sweet, but lovely just as well.
Big, fun, wild, curls… I did my bantu knots, but tighter/smaller sections. This full outfit is coming this week.
The flower I started last weekend… and this is the state it’s still in. I’m dying to finish. I’m hoping to have a little free time later today, but I still have so much work to finish today… and then of course MAD MEN AND GAME OF THRONES take Sunday night priority, so there’s that.

Throwback to bungee jumping in the LA National Forest from a bridge… where they made sure to tell us that if we don’t jump just right, we’ll bounce back up and hit the bridge, lol… late ’90s… I wonder if I’d do it now?
The boys hanging with Bebop when they were still growing. They were nearly the same size as Bebop here, and now are both twice his size. Though, to be fair, Bebop has been shrinking in the last year or more. He’s getting smaller and smaller but is still kickin!
