What I’m Wearing
* Vintage (60’s) coral red leather coat {Leathers by New England} …I love this coat. Seen here and here
* Vintage leopard print blouse – you know I love this …I wear it way too often – last seen here
* J Brand love story flared jeans …yet another item I wear all too often – belted with the coat belt. I was a wee bit lazy this morning and once I had the idea, I just went with it instead of trying anything else …though it worked out okay – last seen here
I think mine were dubbed “Indigo” …and they are through and through, down to the stitching which I love but sadly, I don’t think they make them any more. Below are links to all the different washes they currently are selling.
* J Brand – Love Story in light weight denim
* J Brand – Love Story in Dark Vintage
* J Brand – Love Story in Light weight Dark Vintage {kinda lovin’ these}
* J Brand – Love Story in Ink
* They even make J Brand – Love Story in Maternity
* Pour la Victoire cut out platforms – see them here
* Gold D&G watch …vintage gem ring was my grandma’s
* Vintage Gucci bag
I sort of pride myself on being able to mix and remix the same items in my closet time and time again, recreating a “new” outfit every time. But even I’m getting bored with my “collection”. And while I often add new pieces {mostly via Gilt} it’s been a while since I’ve really gone for a good thrift-hunting shopping spree and well, I think it’s about that time. Though with the holidays, I may have to make it my New Year’s resolution …shop more 😉

It’s time to start painting my nails again. I sort of give them a break after Summer and through the beginning of Fall …then the holidays come and the color returns. This always makes my husband happy. Mostly because he likes the way they look wrapped around his manhood they look so feminine 😉

I love that red leather jacket! You always know how to pose so well!
Oh and that last sentence is HA-larious!! OMG! That’s what I love about your blog – you write what’s on your mind, and tell it like it is. Not a lot of other bloggers are like that, and that’s what makes your blog so interesting and keep me coming back. I love it! 😉
P.S. I just posted my very first giveaway!

I’m right with you. I totally need to make my way to the thrift shop. I actually haven’t been thrifting since I moved to ATL a couple months ago, although there seems to be a ton of them around my new neighborhood. There are actually way more small mom and pops type shops than I ever saw in my neighborhood in LA. Let’s just hope the goods are as good as my LA shops.
Anyway, enough about me. Love that coat everytime you wear it. Hell, I love that shirt everytime you wear it too. Don’t you fidn that sometimes the outfits that you put the least amout of effor into, end up being the most fabulous?
Note to self: I’ve really gotta stop writing essays as comments!
Have a great weekend! 🙂

Red & leopard can be SUCH an overpowering combo, but you manage to do it so well. It looks really sharp and sleek!

That.is.awesome.

Hahaha the painted nails. Spoken like true honesty.
I didn’t realize that jacket was leather, until you mentioned it and I looked close. Funny ‘eh how something that you would think is so prominent doesn’t necessarily resonate as so in the pictures.

Hi Megan, you look absolutely stunning in the red coat and animal print. I love your hair style, and I wasn’t gonna say this, but what the hell, being a man, I agree with your hubby, on both counts. 🙂 But mainly because painted nails mostly look feminine. And my preference is red or a shade of red or pink.
Great site, great ideas and pics, and I love your quality controller, he seems like a very experienced and knowledgeable yet loyal companion.
Have a lovely weekend.
