I’m not sure what it is but every time I paint my nails any color but classic red lately, I want it off the very next day. It’s strange because I’ve never really been drawn to red nails other than maybe around the holidays, but now it’s all I want to wear.
I did this simple purple-y bordeaux and metallic dotted accent nail manicure a few weeks ago actually, and since I had a few requests for a tutorial for it, I thought I’d share a quick one with you here. It’s a three step mani that’s super easy and can be done in any color combo. I chose to paint my middle and ring finger with the accent color and design, but any will work.
Here’s What I Used…
* OPI by Sephora ‘Already Famous’
* Sonia Kashuk ‘All Vamped’
Steps…
Paint on two coats of your base color and then two coats of your accent colors and let dry.
Carefully dot on the contrasting color over your accent color and let dry.
Finish with a glossy top coat like Seche Vite for a long-lasting manicure.
