Crystals in a Crystal Bowl on my Gold Stump Bedside Tables

Happy February Lovecats!

I’m not sure why January felt like it lasted an entire year, but it’s over now and soon it will be summer and we’ll all be saying I CAN’T BELIEVE IT’S HALLOWEEN ALREADY and then it’s NYE and BOOM! The year is over. How does it even work anymore? I don’t know… and I have a feeling none of us really know because since COVID, life has either FLOWN by too rapidly or eked by at a snail’s pace… nothing in between and few memories have stuck. Do we even have the capacity to remember anything anymore -to create long-term or short memories? Another question I cannot answer.

Anyway, last week on my my IG stories I shared how this little bowl of colorful crystals on my nightstand made me smile every time I see it and have received MORE questions and inquiries about the crystal footed bowl (and my night stands) than I have anything else as of late. SO, I thought I’d do a little shopping and see if I could find any similar matches and lo and behold Etsy saved the day!

I found my beautiful little crystal bowl at a thrift shop ages ago. I honestly can’t even remember where or when, but I’ve used it in various rooms, in various ways ever since and just love its unique vintage flair.

I’m guessing the bowl was a candy dish and may have even had a crystal lid at some point, but one can never be too sure. I don’t think I spent more than $15 on it, but there are some pretty pricey options out there right now. I’ve curated a bunch I thought were the most similar and added some as other options in various price ranges in case anyone might be interested in storing their colorful healing crystals in a similar crystal candy dish, as I have and love. If you spot one at your local thrift store, grab it because many are selling for over $200!

Below are some of the amazing options I found, mostly on Etsy, along with my Gold stump side table… click on any image below to shop.

If you’re a longtime follower you might remember my Gold Stump side tables which are actually called, Cast Naturals End Table By Phillips Collection that I found at a thrift store for $25 each when I was still living in LA back in 2010 or 2011. Check out the Original Post Here for a memory refresher… and see how they’ve DOUBLED IN PRICE! I have been using them as bedside tables for the past few years now and am as obsessed with them now as I was then! I still find such joy in thrifting and the fact that I bought them for $25 each makes it even better!

Below is a little peek at my current loft bedroom in Le Dome… which I adore in an 80s movie sort of way.

Side note: I hate how my old posts don’t save the original date if I’ve updated them… and the only reason I ever update them is so the thumbnail photo shows on the category page OR to update old links that no longer work. I wish it saved the original date, I hate that it doesn’t.
