Denim & Jeans Outfits Style the 90's

Still Looking for that Blue Jean, Baby Queen

QUICK NOTE: this white carpet is not stained but actually from the 80s and has navy blue and mauve “dots” created from dyed carpet fibers all over it… and I love it. And yes, my hair looks a bit ridiculous here 😆 sometimes I really do not care though, and it shows 😂

What I’m Wearing…

* Vintage Levi’s from my own ’90s collection
* Various sweaters… classic black v-neck sweater/vintage, Black and White Stripes/English Factory, Grey Cashmere Turtleneck/old-DKNY, Warm tones oversized print sweater/Pendleton
* Various Shoes… Nike dunks high, Puma leopard print, brown Dr. Martens with faux fur
* Various sunglasses….

* Title: Michael Damian – Rock On … my brother and I had a running joke about this song for decades and now I can’t remember it but it still makes me laugh 😂

I’ve included as many similar items in all the shopping widgets to help you shop the looks if you like! Here are similar jeans I found…

I have been wearing these jeans on repeat lately and suddenly don’t really like any of my others. I think we’re in a transitional denim time, where we’re not quite sure what to wear. Skinny jeans feel very wrong, but we’ve been wearing them for so long it’s almost like theyre’ leggings now. Flares don’t feel right, considering we all remember winters with wet hems and aren’t really interested in going that far back in time. The oversized look feels a little youthful, the straight legs aren’t always flattering… should we opt for high waist or low?

IF this is going through my head, it must be going through yours as well but if I’m wrong, please help me find another pair of jeans that feels right for the moment!

I have to say, and I know this is a bit controversial, but I am actually looking forward to the return of the low rise jean. I KNOW, I KNOW, but in so many ways, these were just so much more flattering and more comfortable than the high waist, although I have many pairs now and enjoy them, whenever I throw on an old pair of low waist, I just feel so at home in them… there has to be a happy medium 🤔 but until then, I suppose I’ll be wearing these Vintage Levi’s 501 jeans, not only because I love the look, they fit like a glove, and they should. I’ve had them since high school 😉 and that was wayyyyyy back in the ’90s.
