These are my favorite nails as of late. There’s really nothing original to it, but I love the mix of metallics, especially the 3 golds: White Gold, Rose Gold, & Yellow Gold. I just alternated the colors so no two of the same would sit next to the other. The Rose Gold is my go-to color when I want my nails to look clean and sophisticated. It elongates my hands and fingers rather than drawing attention to my nail art, which can be distracting in some less than artistic workplaces or job interviews, etc., and works as a great neutral. But adding the other two colors kind of mondernizes it a bit, making a hint more of a statement without screaming LOOK AT ME.
Here’s What I Used…
* Sonia Kashuk Golden Ticket
* Sonia Kashuk Smoke & Mirrors
* Sephora OPI Chestnuts About You
I did not use a top coat.
In all actuality, I had planned on a completely different nail art manicure but began with this and loved it and it stuck. So next week I’ll do my intended manicure and post it with instructions. But because this manicure really doesn’t need any instructions, and because it’s Valentine’s Day, I thought I’d add a little romanticism to your day with an overload of very feminine nail {and some hair} photos… because sometimes I just can’t help being so girlie.
Also Seen…
* Heart Shaped Tea Cup Set assorted colors, I’ve used the pink and burgundy here. {this was a gift from my friend Alison ;} and I love it!
* Wearing: vintage rhinestone necklace, Nicole Miller earrings, Pink satin top {you can see here} & vintage white fur, Gold diamond branch bracelets by Cynthia Wolff the husband bought for me last Valentine’s Day.
* Hair: slightly curled, teased & poufed, and pinned half up… burgundy velvet ribbon tied in a bow in front, very old glittered butterfly clips in the back… a hint of a 60’s look.
Happy Valentine’s Day, Lovecats!
I hope your day is full of love and magic even if your “special someone” is yourself 😉 xx
