Like most things involved with lady maintenance, I’m pretty lazy {see dark roots} and when it comes to makeup, I’m no different. I like one-step and double duty products because I don’t want to spend more than 10 minutes applying a daytime look. Also, I tend to run late as it is so anything I can do faster to get me out of the house quicker in the morning is a plus. A night or evening look is more dramatic and well worth the extra time spent in front of the mirror.
I’ve spent years trying to find the right foundations and powders to match my skin tone {which you’ll be able to read more about next week at Life Well Lived} so when I finally found mineral powders, I kind of fell in love. I now use Jane Iredale pressed mineral powder as my foundation in combination with lotions and that’s it. And for now, it works. In a few more years, when the lines on my face will undoubtedly be deeper, I’ll have to reevaluate. The video below is my very basic 10minute makeup routine.
Enjoy…
my bathroom is actually much much brighter in reality. not sure why it records so dark
