I love a good inspiration board in my office. In fact, I’ve had some sort of bulletin board with clippings and photos and magazine tears in my room since I was a kid. I love it. I can’t really live without one …dramatic, yes. So it was only obvious I was going to add one to my new office/dressing room.
The silver framed bulletin board that was hanging in my office prior to my office makeover was literally, the same cork board I’ve had since high school …no joke, and it’s been painted every color under the sun. And it was definitely time to retire it.
One day at my mom’s I found a really fabulously framed old photograph from the late 50’s and my original idea was to remove the photo and replace it with cork and use that. So I bought the cork tiles to do so. But the other day I realized the large frame was going to be a bit big in the space and decided to just use the tiles alone to create an inspiration cork wall of sorts.
I got my foamy sticky grip tape and scissors out, as you see in the photo below but realized after opening the cork tiles, they already came with little sticky squares. Brilliant. To hang them I used a small level and a measuring tape.
