I’ve been trying to think of a cute new Valentine’s Day Manicure like my Heart Nails from a few years ago, but I’m a little lacking in the creativity department lately. Luckily it’s just the beginning of February so I have a little over a week to think of something else. But this is a fun manicure regardless of the month or holiday and would look cute using any colors. They’re kind of like little bubbles so blues would be cute too. I love the little rhinestones because they’re not annoying on my hands like other textured nails/manis, they’re smooth and don’t snag on things if you use the right top coat, so that’s fun.
I chose to do three nails on each hand and only half the nail, using light pink, fuchsia, and red stones. You can bejewel your entire nails and choose to do them all or just one or two accent nails.
Here’s What I Used…
* Old Wet ‘n’ Wild hot pink nail polish
* Tiny nail art rhinestones & tweezer
* Seche Vite top coat
Steps…
* Sprinkle out the stones you wish to use so they’re ready to pick up easily.
* Give your nails two coats of your pink polish.
* To each nail individually that you’re going to add stones to, apply one more coat of polish and carefully pick up and set your stones in the wet polish. Do this to each nail individually and let dry.
* Add a thick top coat like Seche Vite to set your stones in place. They should last 4-5 days {or longer} with a good top coat like this one.
And… Voila!
Have Fun!
