While fashion’s all a buzz with Pre-Fall 2013 collections, I’ve been so preoccupied with decor and home furnishings as of late, and dressing for my new freezing and fun snowy environment, that I have barely been paying attention to anything fashion-related at all {well, other than a bit of shopping here and there ;}. But I have a project coming up and thought I’d freshen up on trends for the coming season, Spring of course! So apologies if this is redundant for any of you or boring even, because really, this is a sort-or research project for me… you just happen to be able to see it.
It seems that a huge trend transcending categories was a minimalistic approach and black and white color palettes. And a few may have even overlapped with the Spring 2012 Trends we saw last year.
Minimalist dressing has been trying to make a comeback for a while now but it just hasn’t caught on it seems. I think eventually even the girliest girls will tire of glitter and ruffles and bows and sequins but some things may just be here to stay.
