First of ALL… Thank you SO MUCH for all your concern, your kind words and condolences, positive thoughts and prayers for Trevor as he went into major surgery last Monday night. I was so worried and it meant the world to me that you were thinking of him and of our little family during our time of great worry and grief.
The good news is that Trevor made it through the surgery like a champ and is doing very well. The vets were even surprised at how well he was recovering and are taking great care of him at the Ontario California Veterinary Specialist where he also had his surgery.
I’ve kind of documented the entire thing on Snapchat because it’s so easy to do there, but realized that not everyone is on Snapchat, so below is my recap of it here via Snapchat {the black boxes, if not showing a thumbnail, are quick videos, fyi}.
It all happened so fast but because of our history with Bebop, and three different Vet opinions, we knew this is what had to be done so that Trevor could walk again. You can read more about a herniated disc in pets here, if you like.
Monday night, Trevor went into surgery…
Tuesday morning, around 9am… {in bed, literally just woke up}

Trevor LOVES music… I know it sounds a little weird, but he really responds to music… and to me singing lullabies in his ear. 🙂

Back home…
Grandma stayed with Randy while I was away so he wouldn’t be all alone without his brother…
And today, we just wait…
Now it’s just a matter of time before he comes home… which should be later tonight!!!
