Lovecats, the trees are budding and the days are warming up and it’s definitely Spring and I’m LOVING these soft but super saturated pastels from Coach right now!
Though my overall theme this month is April Showers Bring May Flowers, the hues of the beautiful blue bag and soft pink wallet align with the Pantone 2016 colors of the year and that gives me a secret satisfaction with my curating skills, that I probably should just keep to myself, but you know I’m too honest for that kind of secrecy.
I actually bought this pretty handbag back in January whilst shopping for that month’s giveaway because I LOVED it so much when I saw it and worried it would be sold out by Spring {which, of course, it is}. I had April in mind when I bought it and curated the rest of the giveaway around it. In February, I featured it in an outfit post as a little sneak peek.

As much as product photos are key, I think showing the bags in perspective like this {above} is probably helpful so you get a feel for the size of the bag in proximity to a human, do you think? I think I should make sure to do this in the future. Note to self.
The Main Attraction…
Part of the “Swagger Frame Satchel” series, the size and shape of this bag is really perfection! It’s smaller than a tote bag, and more defined, obviously, and has a proper ladylike Prada feel about it, which I love.
I think this bag is probably best used as a hand-bag {as in, gripped in your actual hand, lol} or carried on your forearm, but it does have a long strap to wear as a shoulder bag as well, though I think it’s just a nice extra detail really. Speaking of details, I probably should have gotten a shot of the inside, as it has two large compartments with a zippered center area and a magnetic flap to keep it closed.
More Coach Goodness…
Coach wallets are pretty fantastic. Last month I included a shot of the inside of the bright green wallet so I didn’t this time, but the zip-around wallets are consistent in design. They have tons of credit card slots and compartments and hold everything you can imagine.
You know I LOVE these coach wristlets, because they’re just so handy on so many levels, and so cute too… So I thought I’d stay in the pastel region and include this pretty mint green one which will take you all the way through the Summer. They’re actually most perfect for summer nights, when you want to go out and just take your essentials, but they fit more than you think!
Not included in the shots above, the pretty floral umbrella is also by Coach. It’s the same print as the wallet I featured and gave away in January, but it aligned with my theme, so I grabbed it.
Extra Goodies…
Because I spent more on Coach items for this month’s giveaway, I kept the added items to a minimum and strayed away from makeup again {though I’ll be adding makeup again to future giveaways}
To stay in line with my April Showers Bring May Flowers theme and the pretty pastels and floral umbrella, I included a cute pair of tech gloves that are just light enough for the Spring chill and create a cute heart when worn together. They’re from Paris, so that makes them even sweeter, of course. Also, just for fun, a cute little glass vile of Wildflowers you can scatter throughout your garden. But if you don’t have a garden, the corked seeds are cute to display as well. And lastly, a floral notebook, to jot down your Spring and Summer goals or for quick to-do lists, which is what I use them for on the regular {they’re my favorite -I have one sitting next to me on my desk right now}.
