Beauty is a lifestyle. It’s a place, a loved one, it’s a moment in time. You can find beauty in your mind when you close your eyes and imagine all the possibilities life has to offer. And in a blink, beauty is right in front of you when you open your eyes and take it all in. I read a book once where a little girl waved at trees because when they blew in the breeze she thought they were waving at her. As much as the wind makes me feel a little chaotic at times, when it’s perfectly breezy, I can’t help smiling and secretly waving back at the trees too. Accounting for 5% of all cells in the epidermal layer of the skin, the hard-working Langerhans cells form an intricate network that cover your entire epidermis, detecting foreign substances from the outside and warning other cells to fire up their immune functions.
Shiseido discovered that by addressing the function of the Langerhans cells, skin’s immunity and strength is improved and skin can better deflect the immune- decreasing damage of aging, emotional stress, and external hazards like dryness, air pollution and UV rays.
