Title: Orleans “Dance With Me”… such a pretty song {hidden behind a hilarious awkward-fade-in-hair-bearded-photo video} better to listen without watching unless you’re looking for a laugh, lol
I wore this over the weekend actually, and though it feels a little sloppy, I liked it. I’m not sure I’m mastered the actual look I’m going for just yet, but it’s a start. See a few of the items in my Spring Shopping post.
Since picking up the puppies on Sunday afternoon, I have literally been in the same pair of sweat pants which are now covered in puppy pee, I’m positive of it. These two cuties are SO MUCH WORK {which we were anticipating} but honestly, I can only get my actual work done when they are sleeping, or the husband and I are taking shifts {he’s taking care of them right now}.
I can’t say that it’s as much work as bringing home a newborn because I’ve never had the experience, but it feels equivelent to me. Last night, as I was cleaning up puppy poo explosion at around 1am in the dark, I’m pretty sure I got poop in my hair as I tried to sweep it out of my face. Fun. But so worth it 😉 I’m hoping to get a shower in today and maybe even catch up on The Walking Dead, Southern Charm, and RHONY tonight… but even if I just get one of those in, it will be a win. I know this sounds dramatic, but omg. They are a handful! {and so much fun!}
I’m sure I’ll be overloading my Instagram account {which also posts to Facebook} with a ridiculous amount of puppy pics in the next couple days, weeks, months, who knows. They’re so cute I’ve literally taken over 2000 photos on my iPhone since we got them.
Happy to have a little happy back in our lives… though at night, as I try to fall asleep, I still miss LeRoy tremendously and usually cry a little bit too. Jeesh. I can’t tell if I’m a sap, if it’s age, or if I just can’t handle loss… or maybe it’s all of the above, my fear of losing the things I love is just as strong as when I actually lose them. ugh.
My butt in Levi’s always looks the same, which I suppose I should be thankful for, lol, but as comfy as they are, because these fit perfectly, they always look like they’re riding up a little 😉
Happy Tuesday Lovecats!
* too many photos, I know, I don’t have a good editing eye right now. Must. Get. Back. To. Puppies!
