While I’ve been lucky enough to have somehow slipped through my entire life avoiding horrible acne, I’ve always had breakouts, even now, well into my thirties. Fortunately, they don’t mortify me as much now as they did when I was a teenager. But still, everyone wants clear skin. It’s just that simple.
However, when I was asked if I wanted to review the illuMask, an at-home Anti-Acne Light Therapy Mask, scientifically proven to be an effective way to treat acne, proven to leave skin clearer, smoother, and less oily with fewer blemishes, I thought maybe it wasn’t right for me since technically I don’t have “acne”.
Then I remembered that for the last five or more years I’ve been using a popular anti-acne face wash every single day… which works so well that if I don’t use it, my face will most definitely break out.
And so I accepted the challenge! I stopped using my face wash and started using the mask and after only 20 days, I have totally noticed an improvement in my overall skin. I haven’t had one breakout {and remember, I stopped using my acne wash ~ I just use a gentle soap cleanser now}, my face is more radiant, even-toned, with a dewy glow I’ve never seen and clearer than it has been in years. Honestly I can barely believe it myself!
Somehow, using safe wavelengths of LED lights in red {that reduces inflammation, heals breakouts, and evens skin tone} and blue {kills acne-causing bacteria, reducing current acne} for 15 minutes each day prevent breakouts without emitting any damaging UV rays. I’m totally sold, haven’t had to use my acne face wash and now I want to try the anti-aging illuMask!

: : : UPDATE : : :
It has been about a week now since I last used the mask and I’m happy to report that I still DO NOT have to use my old acne face wash… HOWEVER, my skin DID look MORE radiant when I was using the mask. I’m wondering if I should get another one and just maybe use it every OTHER day, to get that glowy look I liked so much?
