Just an easy two-step manicure that ramps up your shimmer polish by simply beginning with a matte polish in a similar hue underneath. Keep a nail out for an accent if you’d like. This rich grayish blue hue with shimmer makes my nails look like black pearls and I love it! It’s the perfect Fall manicure.
What I used…
* Heathery-gray base coat {a gift from Jeninne last May} is RGB in “Steel”
* butter London polish in “Chimney Sweep” {an X-mas gift from drollgirl}
What I love: both brands contain no Formaldehyde, no Toluene, & no DBP
Easy Two-step…
* Swipe on one coat of gray polish and let dry {by the time you’re done with both hands, they’re dry enough for the second coat}
* Swipe on one coat of shimmery deep charcoal gray over it.
Finish with a quick dry top coat if you like to make your manicure last a few more days without chipping.
Loving the two color layered polish effect and loving even more the fact that I only need one coat of each to get the desired look.
More thanks to drollgirl for passing all her monthly subscribed magazines on to me when she’s done with them 😉 …she knows I hoard them
