Lovecats, It’s THAT TIME AGAIN!
My favorite post of the month is this one… the one where I get to reveal my Coach bag choice for the month and launch the giveaway for you!
Even though I mentioned in April’s pantone pastels giveaway that it would be best to also show me carrying the bag for perspective, I totally forgot to do that while shooting this month’s goodies. I hope you can determine the size without it, though this bag is so pretty, it doesn’t really matter the size because you’re going to want it no matter what 🙂 It’s a classic dome bag size though, large but not ridiculous, with a shoulder strap for good measure, but it’s really the top handle design that makes this bag what it is.
I fell in love with this cute floral print and hope you will to. I’ve noticed you guys tend to like the special bags a bit more than the classic styles in classic colors. I’m guessing it has something to do with what we’ll buy for ourselves based on “need” {like I “need” a classic black bag} vs the cute bags we “want” but don’t always splurge for because we don’t “need” them. Maybe I’m reading too much into it, as I always do, but I think the psychology behind it is interesting. I guess I’ll have to wait and see.
The Main Attraction…
This pretty floral dome bag has been a favorite of mine for a months and I’ve been dying to share it with you guys. Sometimes when I see something really special way ahead of time, I just have to buy it because I know it will be gone when I want to grab it for my giveaway. I bought this a few months ago when there were only two left in the store and saved it for my “May Flowers” theme. I just love the soft and feminine floral print against the black accents and gold hardware, and in the classic dome shape, you can use it for years to come.
More Coach Goodness…
I’m not usually a fan of super-logo-y stuff, but I loved the classic black patent leather with the embossed C’s on this double zip wallet. What’s awesome about this wallet design too, is that it has a wrist strap and a little extra room for essentials, so you can grab it out of your bag and carry it on its own when you need to. It’s timeless in design and function as well.
Extra Goodies…
I really didn’t go overboard on the extras this month because the bag and wallet were so special. It’s not that prior months were less special really, it just feels like the floral print and patent wallet speak for themselves and are so fabulous, they just don’t need much more.
The small travel mug with the French illustration is just too adorable though and I loved the way it looked paired with the bag. The Make Up For Ever foundation and primer set is pretty awesome, though it’s more of a tester in the way that you get to find out what works best for your skin tone. I know the foundation colors are on the light-medium side, which definitely doesn’t cover all skin bases, but I suppose we can only hope the winner will be able to use at least one of them… but the equalizers will work for anyone.
