What I’m Wearing…
* Ripped skinny jeans by Blank Denim… which I wore in my last outfit post as well. I’m obsessed, clearly.
* Oversized chunky knit turtleneck sweater {thrifted & old} see it here years ago.
* Burberry trench coat / short
* Vintage / 70s cobalt blue boots with stacked wood soles {I’ve had these FOREVER} Here is a similar pair by Dries Van Noten boots in brown / Rag and Bone has a similar boot as well
* Light tortoise round sunglasses by Diane Von Furstenburg… from a few seasons ago
* Pre-loved Celine ~ micro luggage tote in chocolate brown from Bag, Borrow or Steal buy section // I was sort of stalking it… then it went on sale, then there was a promo code for an extra 30% off and I bought it so the husband could give it to me for Valentine’s Day 😉
* Title: random lyrics from Taylor Swift ‘Style’… the opening to this song melts me and reminds me a little bit of the beginning of Kavinsky – ‘Nightcall’
I feel a bit late hopping on the Celine luggage tote bandwagon, {and this size is my favorite!} but I’m hoping it remains a classic bag forever. It’s been years since I’ve been able to settle on a brown bag, so this chocolatey brown color was so perfect to add to my nonexistent brown bag collection, and I love the fact that style-speaking, I can really use it forever. Sure different styles come in and out, but a classic top handle tote is always useful, and for some reason, this feels a little retro in a ’70s way, which is always stylish as well. I am seeing a ton of hobos making comebacks, another classic style that’s been shelved for a few years, like these wood-stacked/cobalt blue leather boots. I wonder how much longer we’ll be wearing skinny jeans for? I definitely have been feeling new and old denim trends trying to kick in and stick, but skinny jeans just aren’t budging it seems. This is just an easy outfit of jeans and oversized sweater, and similar to my last sugary sweet outfit post, the accessories are doing all the work.
