I had my FIRST piano lesson on Friday and I’m SO EXCITED to learn, I can’t even tell you. If you’re interested and live up here, my instructor’s name is Maria and her number is 909-336-2170. She’s totally reasonable {studio in her home} and charges $45 a lesson or $145 for the month. She also offers voice lessons.
Our neighbors were up for a weekend vacay and invited us to dinner last night… This was their adorable table setting with a mix of vintage and new glassware and dishes. I love our neighbors and I LOVE living here, and I LOVE the community feel of it all. Growing up in LA, a place where you get more of a feeling that everybody is out for themselves and where I only felt this same sense of community in grade school and in high school, it’s honestly SO REFRESHING to feel like I’m a part of something bigger and welcoming again.
Also note: I took a hip hop dance class last Thursday night and smiled from ear to ear from beginning to end. It was so fun, I cannot even begin to describe and I can’t wait to go again. The woman at our postal service urged me to go and I am so grateful for it 😉

Fall on the lake… most of the boats are back in storage for the Winter again. It’s so fun watching the seasons and cycles here.
