I’m a week behind on my Instagram recaps, which should explain the overload of photos in this post… but as you will soon see, or if you follow me on instagram you already know, our lives at the moment are revolved 100% around two tiny creatures, who while adorable, are quite the handful.
Admittedly, I’ve lost my patience more than once, and may have even wondered why on earth we opted for two when we could have simply had one, but in due time, they will grow up and be awesome and prove to us that all of the hard work we are putting in now will pay off… or at least that’s what we are telling ourselves.
We’ve had our new Frenchie pups for two weeks now, making them ten weeks old and Trevor {the one with the black mask of sorts and funny lip snarl} is growing twice as fast as Randy {who has the wings on his back and one white eye}. It’s clear to us that Trevor was the bully who pushed all the other pups out of the way to get the food and Randy was the littlest, never getting enough of mama OR of food. Now that we are in control of their food, they eat separately so that Randy, the slow eater, can finish his before Trevor pushes him out of the way to eat everything in the land. At the moment, Trevor is the troublemaker and Randy is the sweet little who just wants to curl up in my lap, unless Trevor pisses him off, then he goes into a teeny tiny fit of rage that is hilarious to watch and listen to.
Though they’re still teeny tiny, they’ve both doubled in size in the two weeks that we’ve had them and even through all the poop and pee and following them around yelling NO, they already have our hearts.

Randi sits like a little bunny and they both hop around like them.
Trevor loves sitting in the sun… especially when he’s supposed to be outside doing his business.
Bebop is really good with them… they terrorize him mostly but sometimes just offer sweet sniffs and kisses.

I snuck out on Saturday to get my hair done while the husband manned the house and the dogs. It was nice to get away to be honest and probably the first time ever I didn’t care that my hair took nearly 4 hours to color… in fact as I was leaving the salon at 5:15pm I actually said “I haven’t been here that long, have I?” … I got there at 1:30pm. Anyway, the salon sit right on the lake, this is the view from the deck.
Because puppies love chasing after leg warmers and chewing at my feet…
