Lovecats! It’s Giveaway Time!
My intention was to have this giveaway launched at the beginning of the month so that it ended on St. Patrick’s Day BUT I’ve been having blog/server troubles since the end of February, so I had no choice but to wait. But now I’m back up and running and hoping for smooth sailing from here on out!
That said, this giveaway I curated was also St. Patty’s Day themed, but just a little bit. I was thinking golds and greens and rainbows for luck, luck, luck but now that the holiday is over, I’ve had to revamp it a little bit.
I popped by Coach and found the greatest little shimmering gold bag that is literally perfect for any occasion, fancy or casual and since gold is always a great statement, I kept it and turned the theme to gold and black… which I actually love even more. The hardest part about this whole thing was coming up with a good title for it 🙂 And since I am listening to Sade right now, No Ordinary Love is what I went with.
Anyway, here are the goods…
A little Coach love…
So my initial thought for a St. Patrick’s Day giveaway was a POT OF GOLD and so this little gold Coach bag was perfect. The size it great, the metallic gold is subtle but shimmery with a flap and turnlock closure, it has a pocket on the back and zippered pocket inside as well (and lined in suede). You can wear the chain long, over the shoulder or cross-body or double it up and create a little shoulder bag out of it OR you can remove it all together and use it as a clutch. Under some lights it has a rose gold tone but it’s a light gold-gold with silver hardware. Here’s a similar style
I love bags (and all the things) with versatility because you can wear them in so many ways. It would be just as cute with a pair of jeans and a blazer for daytime as it would with a cocktail dress in the evening.
A little DIY love…
I made a few of these grosgrain bows with vintage buttons in the center YEARS AGO with an opening in the back for a super large safety pin to slide through as part of the look (you know, Versace-eque) and to pin through a button hole or hang from a bag – but since then I’ve grabbed the pins to use in other DIY Safety Pin projects, so the bows were just sitting there in my archives… and then when I realized this pretty Coach bag was missing something, the bows came to mind!
I simply slipped one end of the removable chain out of the purse and slipped the bow onto it and replaced it and it actually worked better than if I had the pin. It’s completely removable if you don’t like the look. I think it adds a little charm 😉 (no pun intended)

A little aDesign love…
I LOVE these makeup brushes! This amazing brand, aDesign, sent me their entire collection of responsibly made, cruelty free brushes last month (which I shared on my Insta-stories) and since there were so many, I get to share them with you!
Each aDesign box comes with 2 BRUSHES to master any technique! I didn’t want to remove them all from the packaging, so I placed images of the brushes that you’ll find in each box and linked them below so you can see and read more about the collection. They’re all available on amazon too, which is always a bonus!

A little L’Oreal Makeup love…
This is SUCH pretty collection from L’Oreal. I thought it went well with the makeup brushes, though it’s not their foundation line, it’s their luminous skin and highlighting collection. It can definitely be used with foundation, and all the pretty shimmering tints and lotions can be mixed to recreate lots of dewey looks. There’s a combination of luminous serum tints and True Match Lumi Glotions and highlighters from light to dark, all perfect for the warmer months ahead!
I also in included two brow stylists in black and brown and brow raisers in 4 colors to highlight and perfect the areas. I use and LOVE the Brow Stylist boost and set in blonde and it is by far my favorite easy to use brow product, hands down. But I’m a simple kind of makeup gal and hate spending too much time on my brows, so these are perfect!
And last but not least, I included 4 Colour Riche SHINE lipsticks to play around with in shades that will mix well together… except the plum, that’s just for fun!
