Silver & Gold Rustic Glam Holiday Entertaining Decor

Winter is in the air and the holiday season is finally upon us and my collaboration with Ross as a Ross Bargain Hunter wouldn’t be complete without some festive entertaining and holiday decor. But since it’s still fairly early in the season, while thinking about holiday entertaining and decor, I wanted something that could take me through the season and work for both Thanksgiving and Christmas alike.

My immediate thought and inspiration was to simply go with a winter white theme and call it a day, but when I went to Ross and found their holiday section brimming with fun seasonal decor from rustic, to traditional, to trendy, to glam, I had a little more fun pulling elements together to create a rustic glam holiday tablescape including the driftwood stars and glitter JOY canvas, both sweet Ross finds. Can you believe the canvas was under $15? I could not. So I swooped it up and hung it over my existing mirrored wall art because I just love layering and mixing my everyday decor into the holidays as well.

When it came to my table, and with my new wintery-rustic-glam theme in mind, I opted for neutrals mixed with silver and gold. I found the snowflake tablecloth to be the perfect muted but bold backdrop, a silver and gold table runner, the silver glitter placemats, which I scattered down the center overlapping the table runner that I placed opposite for extra texture and layering. I grabbed bunches of snow-flocked twigs and placed them in my own clear vase using gold ornaments I found at Ross to stabilize them as well as bring some gold into the centerpiece. The mod-printed gold candlesticks flanking the simple winter centerpiece were the perfect touch and the crystal encrusted penguin added to my final winter wonderland theme with a little whimsy and humor.

The simple off-white dishes and silverware were my own, as well as the vintage napkins, which were handed down from my mom and perfectly matched the neutral/gold snowflake printed tablecloth. Everything tied in quite nicely to the neutral-metallic palette I had going on and finishing each place setting with a flocked pinecone, which I also found at Ross, pulled the rustic back in and just made me smile.

TIP! If you need placards, pinecones are the best! Simply write each guest’s name on cute card stock, cut into rectangles {or fun holiday shapes} and stick them right into the pinecones. They’ll stand up perfectly and complete the look.

I love this wintery white neutral palette with a rustic glam feel. It was easy to incorporate my own pieces into it and will effortlessly take me through the holiday season without too much extra work. I may add a bit of greenery come Christmas, but until then my table and dining room are complete. And I found it all at Ross. I think my favorite pieces though are the JOY canvas and the driftwood stars. They may stay up all year. I’ll have to wait and see.

I also LOVE pillows around the table. They just add a cozy feel and Ross had the cutest holiday pillows to choose from. I found the perfect rustic glam Merry Christmas pillow and a two-pack of white with gold print to suit. I hung a cute stocking on each chair just for fun, because I just couldn’t pass up all the fabulously affordable stockings they had, but for Thanksgiving, I’ll take them down.
