Feeling a little bit like winter already… & I LOVE it!
I really thought I’d do a fun Halloween-themed giveaway this month… but now that it’s so late in the month, I realized it would be November before these goodies would arrive on one lucky Lovecat’s doorstep. So, I thought I’d just go into Coach and check out some of their new arrivals and hope for the best. As SOON as I walked in the door I spotted this bag, with it’s studded-floral goodness, I grabbed it and headed straight to the cashier. It was IT for me and I hope you love it too because it’s pretty incredible, really.
I usually don’t include jewelry but I loved how this statement necklace had hanging studs and paired perfectly with the bag… and the wrap is the perfect accessory for fall and matches the bag in hue as well as spikiness. To round it out, I threw in a few fabulous shades of purple for your fall manicures and a detox and brighten clay mask… But here’s a little more detail…
The Main Attraction…
It’s difficult to get the color right in photos… it’s a sort of matte navy, and it’s GORGEOUS. It’s dark, but not black, and the perfect shade of blue. When the light hits it, it’s brighter, obviously, but in the natural daylight, it’s a deep matte shade of navy blue that is stunning.
The little leather floral studs across the top of the bag, as well as the overall shape, remind me of the Valentino ‘rockstud’ line… though, when I mentioned that to the salesgirl at Coach, she just kind of looked at me funny, lol.
It’s large and roomy inside with a zipper pocket for personal stuff and two larger zippered sections along the top. The zipper pulls snap down on the front of the bag next to the handles. The design details on this bag are perfection.
Comes with a removable shoulder strap and a silver coach keychain/bag charm.
Extra Goodies…
So last winter I bought two of these gorgeous wraps thinking I’d give one away as a Christmas gift, but it never happened. But since the color scheme matches so perfectly, and I love mine so much, I thought I’d include it in this giveaway… so technically, I am giving it as a gift 🙂
But it also works as a light throw… I have it laying over a bench in my hallway right now.
I love the Essie GelCouture collections… the colors are great, but also, I really like the way the polish goes on and stays on. My manicures last almost a week… and I think you can use your favorite top coat to seal the deal.
This necklace was sent to me from Stella and Dot and I wore it only for an outfit post, which is why I feel okay about handing it down to one lucky winner. It’s still brand new, it had just been sitting in a stack of other statement necklaces that were all too similar. So I hope you enjoy it and wear it a-plenty, lol.
