I still haven’t decided how to decorate my table for Thanksgiving this year. Actually, that’s not completely true, I recently bought a short money tree that I am in love with and was hoping to find a second one at the local nursery to pair together as part of a centerpiece design… but alas, they were all gone by the time I got there. And really, there were only two to begin with… and the last time my mom was in town, we both took one home with us.
So now I’m not sure what to do. Though I’ll probably use my DIY tassel tablecloth as the base, I’m now stumped on how to continue. A few years ago I used my ikat throw paired with antlers, white pumpkins, & pinecones and loved it, but I want something different.
I received a holiday email from Hen House Linens the other day with these festive Thanksgiving tabletop images for inspiration and got some ideas so I thought I’d share. I like the use of succulents along the center and the fun silverware holder, as well as the mix of textures and colors. And while I don’t have any chevron prints at the moment, it has inspired me to get creative and look outside my table linens drawer and inside my DIY fabrics to maybe add to my table. We’ll see what happens. If it turns out spectacular {heh} I’ll photograph it and share it here, of course.
In the mean time, will you leave links to some of your favorite Thanksgiving tabletop designs in the comments if you have a minute? I need all the inspo I can get right now because THANKSGIVING IS TOMORROW AND I’M OUT OF TIME! xo
Happy Thanksgiving!
