Pretty Genius | Textile Wrapped Pendant Lamp Cords

Pink Pendant Lamp Cord

I ADORE these textile covered pendant light cords… OBSESSED doesn’t come close to describing my love for them and I only wish I found them a week prior to having a pendant lamp installed in one of our guest rooms, because this pretty pink cord would have made the PERFECT addition to the floaty white lamp. But unfortunately, most of the plugs are for use in the UK and not compatible with US electric plugs, so lucky livers of other lands are you! However, their cuteness has made me rethink the white chain surrounding my pendant lamp cord, and maybe give it a quick glossy coat of color in the shade of awesome.

They’re pretty genius, don’t you think?

I actually loved this idea as well and decided to make my own version by buying crochet thread and wrapping it around the cord using the same knot technique to make friendship bracelets. It even allowed for me to add 3 simple pom poms about an inch off the base towards where the bulb goes. I also used a vintage looking edison light bulb. Looks great!
