I recently teamed up with Target and Glam Media and got to do a little shopping on their dime. And let me tell you, everything was so cute, I had a really hard time staying within the budget they gave me! Sure everything is a super-steal, but I also wanted EVERYTHING! And in fact, I did go over my budget, and got some RIDICULOUSLY cute items. But I’ve been living in this tie dye dress, which I couldn’t help post last Monday, so I hope it’s not redundant now to post three different ways I’ve worn it recently.
I’m also really excited about Cosmic Cart, the universal online shopping cart that lets you buy items from multiple retailers without having to leave my site. You may have seen it in my first #TargetStyle post, and you’ll find it in every #TargetStyle post from now on {and maybe all my outfit posts as well because it’s so cool – but I’m having an issue finding all my items listed :/}.
When you see the green Cosmic Cart icon at the top of my style photos, click it to shop the look and a virtual shopping cart will pop up right on my sidebar. It’s as easy as that! Seriously!!! {NOTE: it may not work in older browsers}
What I’m Wearing… Daytime // Casual ’90s Modern
This was my original look I wore last week to the Farmer’s Market and a casual sushi dinner with the husband. We walked, so comfy shoes were a must, but I love the material of this dress, it looks like jersey but is thicker so it doesn’t cling like you’d think it would. It fits true to size but runs a little loosely through the torso and hips.
* #TargetStyle high-low racerback dress by Mossimo®
* Red plaid flannel around my waist from Asos ~~ methinks the “kids” are wearing these a littler higher on/at the waist, but mostly I like the way it looks sitting on/around my hips 😉
* Beaded wrap bracelet and anklet // necklace by Odisya
* Nike+ Fuelband ~ rose gold clasp
* Tiny mala bead necklace was a gift from my mom
* Black double straps with black buckles by Birkenstock
* Thick retro burgundy frames by Marc Jacobs Sunglasses
* White leather Rockie bag by Alexander Wang
What I’m Wearing… Night Out // Edgy
By belting the dress and adding a little leather, I created a fun and sexy date night look that the husband loved. I couldn’t help adding red again to this classic black and white look. What’s great about belting is that you can do so up high at your waist, or low on your hips, and since it shortens the length, may work for you if you’re 5’5″ and under.

What I’m Wearing… Daytime // Bohemian
The simple black and white tie dye print on this dress makes it super easy and fun to mix with tons of other prints. By adding this groovy paisley silk kimono jacket, hat, and suede boots, I created a fun bohemian style that I loved.
