This is my last post with Target and Mode Media for my Target Style campaign, and honestly, I’ve loved every minute of it. The fun part about working with brands is they challenge me to think a little bit differently and create content a little bit out of my normal posting schedule and I am always happily surprised by what I come up with.
Over the past 6 months working with Target, I’ve found a few of my new favorite pairs of shoes and boots that are on serious rotation in my wardrobe at the moment. Prior to this collaboration, I didn’t really think about Target for shoes, and honestly, they’re more comfortable than most of my high end designer shoes. With this in mind, I’ll be continually checking Target.com {because my nearest Target store is over an hour away, boo} for new shoes, sneakers, and boots, as well as my favorite affordable beauty products.
For this last style post, Target has asked that I revive something in my wardrobe that I haven’t worn in over 6 months as I did back in early fall with my 6 Month Salvation / Teal coat. This time I grabbed a maxi dress I bought for summer but found hanging in my closet with the tags still attached. Every time I tried it on for Summer, it felt too revealing with the high front slit but suddenly, due to the chilly weather, layering it over long sleeves and leggings made it totally wearable now for Winter. Topping it off with a faux fur vest gives it a modern Boho-’90s feel that is perfectly on-trend.
I’m absolutely loving this look that I may have never tried if I wasn’t challenged for this style post.
