It’s that strange time of year when Fall clothes are on the radar but the weather is just waking up to Summer {here in LA} which makes getting dressed in the morning a giant cluster-fuck. It’s rare when I have an outfit chosen the night before including accessories and I can just throw it all on confidently, apply my mascara, finish my hair and get out the door on time {very rare} … and this morning was no exception, although it would be much smarter of me if I did. ALSO, my dress was not wrinkled when I left the house. I blame the car seatbelt the most for this sad display.
I’m getting my hair done this afternoon and I’m tempted {as always} to chop it all off into a messy shoulder-length bob à la Scarlett Johansson …but I most likely will not. It’s nice to have lots of hair to hide behind sometimes, something I rarely remember until I chop it all off. This may or may not be the last time I see my stylist, Nikki, as the salon she rents a chair from seems to be closing. Goddammit! What on earth will I do? I’ve been loyally seeing Nikki longer than any other stylist in the existence of me coloring my hair {which pretty much began after I graduated high school when I dyed it burgundy, you know, the 90’s} So, insert the biggest sigh ever right here because again, what on earth am I going to do? {and yes, I’m being totally dramatic}
