As someone who’s never attended the music festival Coachella, I can’t really claim to know exactly what Coachella nails would look like, so I may be way off here, which is why this nail art manicure received two names. But based on the numerous photos I’ve seen year after year, for some reason, the color and design of this mani just reminds me of the music festival everyone raves about. Annnnd, having said all that, I’m pretty sure if I were about 16 years younger, I’d have attended the event at least one of the years if not all of them, because I love music and I love live shows, and once, in a past life, I actually loved crowds and concerts and noise and general tomfoolery. But enough of that… have a blast {for me ;} if you’re heading to the desert in the coming weeks!!!
In other dog-related news, while no one can replace LeRoy as my sidekick, quality control expert, prop and model, Randy seems to be happy to help out and take over LeRoy’s duties. If I had a baby sling, he’d be happy to let me wear him all day long {he loves to cuddle} He’s doing a pretty amazing job so far, but he’s got some pretty big paws to fill 😉

Here’s What I Used…
* Silver metallic polish by Sonia Kashuk {my favorite metallic because it goes on relatively thin & dries fast}
* Purple Sephora OPI polish
* Mint green polish by Francesca’s
* Seche Vite {my favorite fast drying top coat}
NOTE and FUN TIP: If you paint your top coat on while your mint dots are still wet, they drag a little bit and create a more mid-century modern design 🙂
Here’s How I Did It…
* Give yourself two coats of your metallic silver and let dry.
* Swipe a wide stripe of purple beginning in the middle of your nail and upwards… let dry.
* Dot or swipe your mint on top of your purple and then a small dot at the base of your nail on the silver.
* Finish with your top coat.
And… Voila!
