What I’m Wearing
* Eryn Brinie soft pink drop waist dress {belted} …from Gilt Group …seen here
* INC knit dress worn over ….seen here and here ages ago
* Calvin Klein “Parma” platform sandals {
also here in black suede} …seen here
* Rope necklace DIYed this morning. Used rope from this rope necklace DIY, slid one side through the other, then used matching brown tulle to tie the other end to the rope, creating a bow. Tulle is just about the easiest textile to work with. I actually love this.
* Ruth Taubman Pink pearl necklace w/multicolor stones {gift} worn above the rope
* Red Monkey skinny belt
* D&G mirror watch, stacked rings {I love buying stacked rings and interchanging them!}
* Tom Ford “Yvette” sunglasses
As I was setting my camera up to snap my outfit shots this afternoon, it wobbled, then tumbled directly to the ground snapping a cool timed shot on its way down. I was able to get a few more but they had this half-blurry effect adding a creepy dreaminess to the photos. In an effort to fix it, I cleaned the lens and powered the camera off …but the lens decided it wanted to remain erect thus giving me an error message on my viewfinder. Dead. If I hadn’t turned it off I could have gotten a few more dreamy images. But oh well. I packed it up and went home.
Now because I know I’m clumsy and usually hurried when taking my outfit shots {propping my camera up on my car because I’m too lazy to get out my tripod}, I prefer to use my old Canon PowerShot SD900 Digital Elph Camera when I’m out on the road. My more advanced camera with a cordless remote stays safe at home for just this reason. But clearly {and luckily} I’ll have to carefully use it while my PowerShot is being repaired. le sigh*
