What I’m Wearing
* Thrifted denim button down. Never say never …I never thought I’d be wearing a denim shirt again. Ever. Period. They were sort of a staple {next to the plaid flannels} in the early 90’s over bodysuits w/ ripped men’s Levis {long or cut off} and worker boots. I remember my mom continuing to hold onto the denim shirt, sleeveless and all -for years {I bet you she still has them in her closet!} …and then they became the staple for every conservative business, it seemed, with the logo on the pocket. And now? Quite possibly chic again. Never say never 😉
* Forever 21 black leggings
* Erin Leigh Heart brown oversized cardigan …also seen here with wedges.
* Via Spiga brown lace-up wedge booties
* Tom Ford Anouk cat-eye sunglasses
* Salvatore Ferragamo Bag
* Light accessories …white gold hoops and Tiffany’s silver lock pendant necklace
My new bike obsession is doing exactly the thing I hate about exercising; bulking me up! I have an exorbitant amount of muscle mass in my body and as soon as I lift a weight or push a pedal, I feel like a body builder. Yes, a bit dramatic, but nonetheless, true. Because of this mad bulkage, I usually stop doing whatever exercise I was doing to cause it, but not this time. I love riding my bike and I’m hoping if I continue it, the bulkiness will pass and leave me with hopefully leaner, toned body. I am 33 and while I was a very actively athletic kid, I haven’t done shit for my body in many many years. And if I don’t start now, it’s only gonna get worse, right? And, it’s healthy: mind, body, spirit. {okay, it’s also possible I’ve been putting more things in my mouth than necessary} I cannot lie.
