I have found a few really amazing home decor/design boutiques up here and while they all lean a little on the woodsy side, each has its own distinctive style and this is one of my favorites. Many offer interior design services as well.
Just as you enter the Lake Arrowhead Village, there’s a gorgeous little home decor shop on the corner dressed in black and white, called Jeannine’s Home Furnishings, and both times I’ve been in, have had the pleaser of meeting and seeing Jeannine herself and her adorably friendly dog, Archie.
I’m currently obsessing over this Great Dane statue…
And I just love the warm blue and cognac hues…
Along with the rustic, woodsy chic items she pulls together and how she combines them.
There are three levels of goodness and tons of little special hidden corners and though I really want everything I see, it’s also bursting with inspiration. The first time I visited was just about a week or so after we moved up here last December and I fell in love with a giant blue coral sculpture that I couldn’t stop thinking about for weeks. It’s still there and I’m still dying for it…
But is over here now…
And would look PERFECT right in the center of this very large, very rustic, very round, coffee table in the photo below…
Which I’m also lusting after for our living room {photos don’t do it justice} but at nearly $1800, I have to keep lusting. However I am a teensy bit afraid it’s too big as well, so that’s my excuse for now.
I picked up a few things when I was there last and will share them soon with updated photos of the living room. Though it never feels “done”.
