Jane Aldridge of Sea of Shoes was one of the first bloggers I found online who was doing anything close to what I wanted to be doing blogging-wise… and she was all of 16 or 17 years old then…
I often imagine how amazingly awesome it would have been to have access to the all that is the creativity of the internet when I was that young. It has opened so many doors for so many people (including myself), at any age, and still is and will continue to do so, but having it at your fingertips to explore at such a young age would have been exceptionally beautiful… and to have been able to watch Jane, who ultimately “grew up” online, in this new medium that didn’t really even exist prior, while staying stunningly sophisticated and completely graceful during some of the toughest years of a person’s life, has been an exceptional experience for me to witness as a viewer.
I love that Jane’s Mom, Judy Aldridge (who runs Atlantis Home, whom I’ve shared a few times here as well), has been a part of the experience too. I love the mother/daughter collaboration and to see both of them work together artistically is really fun. They are both insanely talented with an eye for super-unique pairings in style/fashion and home/design that I just LOVE!
All this is to say that I found Thyme and Temp just last weekend when Judy was sharing Instagram stories of Jane’s wedding and marriage to Jeff Dashley with a link to @thymeandtemp on Instagram. And then of course, I couldn’t help but do a little clicking and found it to be a joint project between Jane and Jeff… SO CUTE!
ANYWAY… The site is beautiful, the food looks incredible, the photos are magazine-worthy… it’s all too good to NOT follow… so go do it 🙂
Seriously, how CUTE are they!??!?! I just love this… and a big Congratulations to the newlyweds! Find them at Thyme and Temp
