I just want to start out by saying I LOVE AUrate fine jewelry… Each of their pieces are designed and handmade using ethically sourced and sustainably made 14K gold, 18K gold, and 14K gold-plated vermeil and all of their jewelry is born, raised, and handmade in NYC so they don’t charge import taxes, use unnecessary middlemen, or add insane markups WHICH MEANS, their prices are much more affordable for all of us!
I have a few pieces from their collection including super fine gold and diamond rings, my white gold and diamond flower ring and now I’m getting the flower ear jackets to match!
Aren’t they so pretty?
They’re available in yellow and rose gold as well… I love how they sit on the front and the back of the ear and look like they’re just dripping down.
Way back in the ’90s when I was just an angsty teen, I had a sterling silver flower ring I loved so much that I wore it until it broke. Even though it’s really not worth anything at all, I actually still have it somewhere in an old jewelry box because it reminds me of those simpler days.
I’m tempted to buy this gold leafy vine ring because it reminds me of it but I tend to wear more white/silver/platinum than yellow gold and I already have the open flower ring as a sort-of modern version of my favorite ’90s ring and I tend to go in phases when it comes to jewelry. It’s all or nothing, lol… but I’m excited to get the flower ear jackets to match my ring.
I guess you could say I’m drawn to nature-inspired jewels… My engagement ring from Chad has a floral aspect as well. The band has leaves inlaid with little diamonds, but from the side it looks like a flower stem with leaves and the flower is the solitaire diamond on top 🙂 and I love it.
Hope you all had a lovely weekend!
We are covered in blankets of snow, but it’s so beautiful when the sun is shining!
