I drove to Crestline the other day just to see what it was like since I hadn’t been yet {it’s about 15 minutes away} and found Lake Gregory to be quite gorgeous… I also found a ton of fun antique and thrift shops where I found the blue and white garden stool below for $34 …such a score!
Just a couple selfie from a week ago… and the lake, behind the Village, at sunset.
IT by Alexa Chung book review… and a fun little gold and black velvet reupholstered vintage chair I found at a thrift shop called The Cluttered Nest in Blue Jay, for $34. I actually was hoping to find a little keyboard to practice my piano on in the Radio Shack next door but didn’t have any luck. The chair, on the other hand, was a total score, and hopefully will make a nice piano seat, since it’s very low and has wheels.
I loved the shadows these lamps cast {at a local antique shop in Cedar Glenn} though the bobcat was sad… The other day I played a little bit of Superbetter and one of the tasks was called “moodbooster” and asked me to google an image of a “baby_____” so I googled “baby pony” and found this…. it said to share it with at least two people, so instead, I shared it with instagram, hoping it would boost everyone’s mood. It’s so sweet, I could cry tears of joy.
We totally hung Christmas lights already… just around the fence… and a little around the deck… though we would have done the entire house but we ran out. I figured, we only get to see Christmas lights for so long, so why not extend that? And also, we sort of live in Christmas Movie Town, so lights are totally appropriate.
Happy Sunday Lovecats!
Hope you had a nice weekend.
