We’ve had quite a week, as you all know, and as the days pass, the air feels a little less heavy as do our hearts. Thank you all so much for your kind words, comments, and personal stories, which were really helpful in our time of loss. We read them all and sobbed after each one. We didn’t get to have babies, so these dogs are basically our children and they mean the world to us.
Having a sweet moment with Bebop… He’s been looking a little droopy lately. It took him a day or so to figure it out but he’s missing LeRoy too.
We need moisture in the air so badly right now so when the fog rolled in the a few evenings ago, it was a happy surprise. It rained all through the night but we still need more. Fingers crossed for a little snow. Those little dots on the lake are ducks 🙂
I couldn’t help posting puppy pics of LeRoy on #TBT {Throwback Thursday}… looking at photos of him was literally the only thing that made me stop crying. It was as if I could still see him, and it calmed me down.
Another puppy pic… this was at about 8 weeks old. He was so tiny, the littlest collar I had bought for him {see the photo above} was too big so I tied a ribbon around his neck.
I took a bunch of selfies with LeRoy about a week before his final day and I’m so happy I did. Looking at them later helped me realized just how sick and unaware he was. 🙁
The clouds through the trees as the sun burst through them… on a walk/hike the other day.
My Gold Snake Shoes DIY from last week… this was a fun one! I was really excited to post it, like the old DIY days, when I had time to really be creative and take time with my projects. I’m so grateful for time and priority shifting.
The sunset over the lake the other day was phenomenal… I used this photo already for my Sad/Get Happy Post on Friday … it was so incredible in person as the water reflected the pink/blue sky.
The old pug that could… Bebop is a survivor man.
Happiness is finding the secret chocolate ice cream the husband stashed in the garage fridge when you weren’t paying attention {and you were PMS and totally sad and needed a sugar rush ;}

Happy Weekend Lovecats!
* Hope you’re having a lovely one.
Since neither of our teams are in the Superbowl tomorrow, I have to root for Peyton, just so he can be crowned The Best Quarterback In the History of Football. But really, I’ll be watching for the fun commercials and probably painting my nails.
