It’s funny what I thought was going to be so redundant, is actually quite helpful. In my weekly Instagram recaps, I can answer all the questions I get throughout the week about the items in the photos I post, with helpful links as well. Last week a reader asked if I could include the descriptions under the photos to make it easier, so I hope this helps ;}
1. LeRoy watching daddy leave…
2. New Minnetonka slippers in navy/brown… I almost went with the leopard faux fur but decided on the classic instead… & love. With leg warmers, of course.
3. A little Christmas drama in the master bedroom w/ purple & green faux fur stockings and a purple feather tree. Using the mirrored bar cabinet that used to be in our dining room.
4. Having lunch by the lake… {view of Lake Arrowhead from the Village}
5. Feeding the ducks {outfit post coming soon}… they sell “duck food” at the restaurant to feed the resident ducks with… it’s really cute. I bought a bag to take back to the ducks by our lakeside beach.
6. And then all the ducks swarm and fly up and climb under the fence to basically eat the food right out of your hand. They’re used to this action.
7. Me with Santa in the late 70’s… I think I was 3-1/2 here and clearly annoyed with my tights and/or underwear. Nothing has changed really 😉
8. Toasty for our afternoon walk in my new puffer jacket and Crocs duck boots {which are sold out of my size and I’m a sad because I really wanted to stock up on like 5 pairs of these for the coming winters}. Also, repeat sweater offender {see the gloves as well}.
9. Just a heart I drew in the snowy powder right outside our door one morning.
10. The best holiday cards always come from drollgirl
11. Winter woodsy outfit from last week. Full outfit post details here.
12. A favorite ornament… see this year’s tree in full here.
13. I love my Hunter Wellies but they make my closet smell like a tire shop. I have to keep them in the garage due to the smell… And vintage luggage from my Father in law. {Fun fact: In the movie Say Anything, it’s the same luggage the dad tries to buy his daughter when his card is denied}
14. Candy apples in the window at the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory in the Village {which we have gone to at least once a week to stock up. My husband is obviously trying to fatten me up. I have zero willpower when it comes to chocolate, dark chocolate, & anything in between.}
15. Fingerless gloves I wear everywhere now… a gift from my friend Alison a few years ago.
16. Icicles hanging from our roof after it snowed for a day and a night. I worried about them falling on us and asked if I should knock them down… and then the sun came out and they all started melting aways so fast it looked like it was raining.
