I haven’t followed much of the fashion week runway collections this season but I love to watch the street style and highlights on Instagram. I was watching someone’s highlight the other day, I can’t remember who, and THIS SHOW STOPPED ME IN MY TRACKS!
Sure Karl Lagerfeld’s seaside-inspired Spring-Summer Ready to Wear 2019 collection was immaculate, as always with Chanel (even if it’s bad, it’s good) BUT it was the presentation on the faux beach complete with sand and waves and models walking barefoot until they reach the dock only to slip their shoes on and finish their walk!
I loved it. Every minute of it… and at 16minutes, it was a LONG show. It was fabulous. If you have a moment, watch below (and I recommend full screen to catch every last detail). It’s pretty amazing… I mean, for a fashion week display.
W A T C H : The Spring-Summer 2019 Ready-to-Wear Show — CHANEL

The stills are okay… but you really need to watch it to get the full visual effect!
I Just love it!
