Levis & Loafers & Leopard Coat from November 2013
Leopard is one of those prints that has become a neutral, like stripes and plaid even polka dots. They’re always fashionable pairings during certain times of the year, but some seasons, like this one, leopard print comes back with a ROAR 😉
And in all the years I’ve been blogging (10) and wearing my grandma’s leopard coat (nearly 20) -which she handmade for herself in the 1960’s and is certainly one of my all-time favorite pieces in my closet – it hasn’t been until NOW that brands have FINALLY made enough styles of leopard coats that I can finally link to and/or would shop one of them.
Each year and fall season that I wear mine and share it here, I search for something comparable to link to, and maybe I’ve found one or two over the years, but finally now, there are TONS OF STYLES AVAILABLE! From short to long, and super plush to fine faux hairs, and in various cuts, shapes, and price points, there is something for everybody.
AND with Shopbop’s sale NOW IS THE TIME TO SHOP and add one to your closet! Sale dates: 9/26-9/29
Pick up a classic style and you can dress it up or down and literally wear it for years to come like I have been wearing mine. They are well worth the investment, and I am proof! I’ve already pulled it out this Fall and I know I’ll be reaching for it all Winter as well… and I’ll be wearing it until the seams are no longer holding together and the lining is falling out. It’s a staple I get excited about wearing each Fall season.
