What I’m Wearing…
* Strappy harness bra from Adore.me {which was actually a one-piece that I cut if you notice the little ribbons sticking out from the bottom of my shirt – also seen here} worn with lace T-back bra also from Adore.me
* Vintage black long-sleeve top {which I cut the neck out of recently so it would sit like a ballet top on my shoulders, exactly how it is}
* Black ripped skinny jeans by DSTLD {last seen here}
* Sunglasses by Thierry Lasry
* Vintage Chanel mini bucket bag from Bag Borrow or Steal buy section
* Combat boots by Joie
* Title: Ariana Grande – Dangerous Woman
Nothing to prove and I’m bulletproof and ~ Know what I’m doing ~ Don’t need permission ~ Made my decision to test my limits ~ Cause it’s my business, God as my witness ~ Start what I finished ~ Don’t need no hold up ~ Taking control of this kind of moment ~ I’m locked and loaded ~ Completely focused, my mind is open
Though I’m not really a huge Ariana Grande fan, I LOVE this song… I mean, she is ridiculously talented and has a gorgeous voice and I do happen to follow her on snapchat, so I guess I am a fan 😉
The Spring time change always gets me… every damn year, as if it’s monumental or something unexpected, and my entire life gets turned upside down. I generally love it because days are longer and it stays lighter later and the beginning of spring and has got me dreaming of warm summer nights ahead. But still, it somehow always wrecks havoc on me mentally and physically and this year is no different. I’ve completely lost my sleep schedule, which has actually resulted in fantastic amounts of writing in the wee hours of the morning, which is not a complete bust really, but I’ve been sick since last Wednesday with a head cold that is making me want to stab my eyeballs out with a knife, through way of my nostrils.
But I digress, I wore this outfit a while ago and I love it. All black is always a favorite go-to, but I love the way the top looks layered with the harness bra top. In fact, I cut the neck of this top so it would work together with it seamlessly and somehow, it doesn’t fall off my shoulders and is exactly what I wanted. It’s a shirt from the ’90s I found in an old trunk of clothes I kept and the main reason for adding the harness detail is really so that I can wear a bra and disguise it in the straps and lines. I bought a few more harnesses recently at Yandy.com that I can’t wait to try out too, but this one is a favorite. If you follow my snaps, you would have seen this over a month ago, and I did a sort-of ballerina bun with a black ribbon wrapped around it. It was a fave.
Happy Monday Lovecats!
