pink free people midi love of my life dress with white and red and leopard print puma sneakers tennis shoes and army green jacket

What I’m Wearing…

* Love of my Life dress from Free People (in 3 colors) also seen here in pink and here in light blue and the first time I wore the black one
* Lee Union-Alls coveralls in stripes and in blue denim ON SALE NOW FOR $59 (I’m wearing my original pair with fake grease stains from 2017 ๐Ÿ˜Š which fit a little more snugly than the newer versions. I wear a medium in these so they fit baggy)
* Agolde cropped jeans
* Gray tee… I was just telling someone the other day that I found this tee at Rite Aid when I first moved up the mountain and needed a quick tee and it was $4.99 and it remains my favorite t-shirt ever.
* Crocs in white and lavender
* Adidas superstars
* Adidas gazelle or campus maybe… in navy suede – make sure you’re buying women’s sizing if labeled “mens” on amazon.

Lovecats! Hi!

I thought I’d just compile a post of some of the outfits I’ve worn that I remembered to take photos of before leaving the house ๐Ÿ˜Š

I know you’ve seen me wear this Free People Love of MY Life dress … a hundred billion times BUT it’s STILL my favorite dress for spring and fall because it’s surprisingly fairly heavy-weight so it keeps me warm in the chillier transitional months and it’s so comfortable and always looks cute and makes me feel pulled together (even though I just throw it on and go ๐Ÿ˜†). Every single time I wear it, no matter the color, I get compliments. It’s just that perfect dress that I still can’t get enough of!

I have it in black, light blue and dusty rose… but they only have ivory, mustard and black in stock right now.

I wear a small in this dress and I like how it fits a little big because it’s a thicker linen type fabric, it hangs well… I ordered an XS in a flower print version of this dress WHICH I ADORED but the material is different and has no give and so it’s too small and I never got to wear it ๐Ÿ˜ž I have it listed for sale in my POSHMARK new with tags, if you’re interested and also PS… SEND OFFERS on any items, because generally I’m willing to negotiate my prices! ๐Ÿ˜Š I still have a closet-full of clothes I have to list for sale before I move.

I literally have wet hair above, just out of the shower and threw it on…

I’ve worn the black and pink one twice I think and the light blue one only once so far.

However, I’ve been going down the mountain at least twice a week lately house hunting, so I feel safe wearing it there knowing I won’t run into anyone I know who may have seen me already wearing it ๐Ÿ˜‚. Not that it really matters, but I’ve become so lazy dressing up here on the mountain and can’t wait to actually start wearing all my clothes again and maybe even buying some new items to add to my wardrobe.

PS. It’s also really easy to wash. I run it through a shorter, cold cycled and hang it to dry and then when it’s almost dry, throw it in the dryer for about 3-5 minutes just to soften it a bit.

This was the only day that was warm enough to actually wear this little dress (above) without a sweater or jacket, though I had one just in case. But I’m looking forward to warmer weather down the mountain… we only really get about 3 warm months up here in Lake Arrowhead and only one or two warm nights, which are the best and I’m truly excited about getting to experience that feeling of warmth again.

Another favorite for spring and fall are my Lee Union-alls… of course, they never miss a season AND I actually bought three new colors a few months ago because they were having a sale and I just couldn’t help myself. I bought this fun striped pair, a lighter-weight stretchy peachy pink one and a thicker black denim with studs – on sale for $59 right now!.

railroad striped coveralls

I had a pair of Osh Kosh B’gosh overalls in the ’90s in this exact “railroad stripe print” that are in mint condition and I JUST FOUND THEM LISTED ON ETSY FOR $650 ๐Ÿ˜ฎ … I actually still have them somewhere, and now I want to find them!

PS. I am aware that suddenly there seem to be a multitude of ads popping up here and I’m not exactly sure how to remove them at this time. I know it’s slightly annoying (for me as well), and I apologize for that ๐Ÿซค

Happy Last Week of May, Lovecats!
