Amanda Friedman’s Night Landscapes series is utterly mesmerizing. Transporting us from our busy and chaotic lives, these photographs reveal a simple, beautiful, and a somewhat eerie solitude. By honing in on form, color and contrast, Friedman captures the peace, calm and beauty that we don’t always appreciate in our daily lives. Notice her use of light each composition.
