I randomly happened upon these agate knobs and handles at West Elm the other day and instantly fell in love! I generally won’t drop $14 on a single knob, because WHAT!??!, however, these were just the perfect addition to give our upstairs hallway cabinets a little more style and I couldn’t pass them up. I actually really loved the pairs that almost look like book ends and come in sets of two for $49 but they were a bit too large for the space of my doors, which made choosing the less expensive ones the easy answer. I loved the handles too, but the doors are already holed for one screw vs two. Aren’t they cool?

So yes, yet another stairwell decor post, but I happen to just find these over the weekend and can’t wait to get them! This is the stairwell from the living room to the upstairs and as you can see the boring cabinets at the top of the stairs will look far more stately with these agate knobs as a focal point. I can’t wait to put them on!
I think they will compliment the cow skull hanging on the tall wall opposite {which is on loan from my stepdad indefinitely since my mom doesn’t want it in her house, I win! See it over our mantel in our old house it’s so much prettier with flowers wrapped around it, I may have to do something similar in this space as well}
At the bottom of the stairs is my DIY watercolor artwork. The light fixture {which I like but is not big enough for the space} will eventually be swapped out as well.
I’m really hoping to focus on finishing decorating our house this year, so stay tuned for more decor posts in the coming months!
