The SUN is SHINING and it’s FINALLY starting to WARM UP (well, it’s just above 60degrees anyway) which means I’m ripping off layers and coats and boots and dying to get into dresses and slides and sneakers… However, it’s NOT QUITE dress weather just yet, but I AM SO READY!
Sure, I’ve been spending all my money on roller skates this year, and recently more on new leggings and sweats to wear while skating in the next few months until it’s warm enough up here for dresses and shorts (though I prefer dresses to shorts… and for some reason I haven’t felt comfortable skating in jeans yet, maybe I just need to try them out, but it feels like they would be too restricting, so other than my coveralls, I’m usually in leggings or sweats – FOR NOW) but I’m just itching to get into some pretty dresses and rolllll and there are so many cute styles available this year that I’m loving!
My go-to for all shopping in the past I dunno, 5-7 years has been Shopbop because well, we had a very nice collab, so to speak, but COVID killed that and I sure miss my Shopbop shopping sprees especially now because I literally want EVERYTHING in their 2021 pastel story edit but other than my roller skating obsession, I really haven’t purchased much in the way of fashion for just about a year now and I am getting b-o-r-e-d with my wardrobe.
And yes, while these dresses are the bees knees, they are pricey, so for now I’m just window shopping but I”m loving the retro styles, babydoll and midi-dresses, pastels and floral and geo prints, ruffles and pouf sleeves, yes please! Give them all to me!
Also… if I’m going to be skating in dresses, I’m going to need some bike shorts 🙂
